Internet2 for Minnesota K-12 Schools
TIES has been working in partnership
with Northern Lights, an advanced regional network
through the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota K-12 Regional Telecommunications Directors for the last 6 years to bring the experience of
Internet2 collaboration to Minnesota’s K-12 schools. Many others have participated in special projects and pilots, some featured on our projects page.
Check the links on the right to help you get started with Internet2 or
find classroom projects that take advantage of the network.

MEGACONFERENCE JR. 2010 Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 7:00 AM- 7:00 PM EST (UTC-5)
VJ teams and interactives share the development of each segment and coordinate the hour event
This year the program has been divided into content focused on a
particular topic. The VJ's, interactives and expert(s) will decide what
they want to create and discuss during their segment of Megaconference
Jr.
Each group will work collaboratively to determine the type of
presentation, storyboard the activity and develop a "product" that
demonstrates the significance of their particular topic.
For instance a group may choose to collaboratively create music and
lyrics that will be presented as well as discuss how they were able to
create and share their productions.
Visit the website to see how you can be involved.
