Teach and Think Green with STEM Classroom Resources

Energize students about preserving the environment with eco-friendly classroom lessons and interactive games from Thinkfinity.org. Elementary students will love to see how using refillable water bottles, in comparison to disposable plastic bottles, can help save energy and our animals. Show middle school students how solar energy panels work, and then have them research how to make the panels more efficient. Ask high school students to develop and present plans for energy-saving solutions.

Special Collection of Eco-Friendly and STEM-related Resources

  • Explore an entire collection of Earth Day resources and get your students energized about helping the environment. (K-12)
  • Help students become True Green Kids with 100 Things You Can Do to Save the Planet. (3-5)
  • Calculate the amount of fresh water students consume with a water footprint calculator and show them how reducing their water consumption can help solve the fresh water environmental issue. (6-12)
