Mrs. Klein addressed high school students at the W.K. Kellogg Auditorium in
Battle Creek on Monday, April 16, 2007

Her presentation was streamed live over the Internet and Internet2 by Merit
and Internet2 in collaboration with Battle Creek Public Schools, Lakeview
School District, Calhoun Intermediate School District, the W.K. Kellogg
Foundation, AccessVision Battle Creek and the Klein Foundation.

A dynamic and passionate speaker, Gerda Klein does more than just tell the
story of her struggle and survival during the Holocaust. She challenges
students to "stand up" to the same type of discrimination and extremism
that befell the Jews of Europe.

High school and middle school students reading Gerda Klein's memoir "All
But My Life" or other works about the Holocaust will find great value in
hearing this history told from the perspective of a survivor. Students
studying World War II along with those involved in service learning
projects will also benefit greatly from Gerda Klein's presentation.
