Internet2 for Minnesota K-12 Schools
Internet2 for Minnesota K-12 Schools
TIES works with the University of Minnesota to coordinate efforts relating to the Internet 2 network for Minnesota K-12 schools.

Internet 2 is a high speed, dedicated network that was originally created for research universities. Internet 2 also represents groups of people who develop projects that take advantage of high speed capacity of Internet 2 around common frameworks. For K-12, the Internet 2 network is used for a variety of distance learning opportunities, including video field trips, remote instrumentation, and using large sets of data.
